1. Sleep a lot
Sleep is incredibly important. Most olympians sleep 9 hour at night and often take an afternoon nap as well. Looks like it works!
2. Eat great food
Nutrition is the backbone of performance. Without fueling properly, athletes can really struggle to train & perform at their full potential.
It’s important to balance carbs, protein, and fat.
3. Have great friends
Most olympic runners train with a group. There’s something to be said about who you surround yourself with – if your group includes other runners who equally love the sport AND will support you along the way, you’re good to go!
